Maidencombe Beach
Maidencombe Beach, TQ1 4TS

A small, quiet and altogether peaceful beach. Whilst part of the English Riviera and only four miles from Torquay, it seems a world away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The village of Maidencombe was mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086. It is less accessible than some of the beaches and as such is not as busy. Steep steps down, but worth the effort. Good for rock pooling and relaxation.
